Show Record:
  • 1st place blue ribbon at The Monterey Pronk 2007 fleece show in a field of 14 competitors.
  • 2nd place red ribbon at the 2007 Great Western Alpaca Show in Denver (Level V show) in a very tough class of 12 white Juvenile boys.

Gabriel is a beautiful Alpaca. His fleece is glossy white, fine and crimpy. He has a gorgeous head with a full bonnet. He loves to prance and run and moves with grace. Gabriel also has a lovely calm personality. He is perfect on a halter and lead and loads in and out of trailers like a champ. He loves a treat and will come running for handouts.

Pedigree:

Gabriel's Sire, Brilliance of Peru at Alpacas of America in Washington state is currently charging $4000 per breeding. His grandfather Peruvian Ion sold for $85k at auction in 2005. His great-grand-sire Guellermo is still at stud and splits his stud time between Canada and the USA. Gabriel is quite a bargain at this introductory Jr Stud fee!

Gabriel's dam is a direct import so he carries genetics unlikely to be related to most other Alpacas in the North American herd. Jelli has produced a beautiful female (Orchid) for us as well and her quality is showing through in both of her babies we have here on our ranch.

Location:

Gabriel is conveniently located for both New Mexico and Arizona breeders in the Little Colorado River Valley of Arizona, just across the New Mexico state border in Apache County. We are a small ranch brimming with personal attention for the critters we love. For multiple breeding packages or breedings within a reasonable distance from our ranch, we would be happy to discuss transporting him to your ranch for a studly visit.

READY SET GO! Gabriel comes of age in early 2008. His first breeding is scheduled for March 2008 on our ranch. We are very excited to start breeding him to our girls, but we can't keep him busy enough ourselves.
